Höfðagata is the oldest bed & breakfast in the historical town of Stykkishólmur with a long running history. It is located centrally within a short walking distance from the harbour, restaurants, the swimming pool and three of the towns museums. We prepare a wholesome breakfast each morning and do our best to accomodate vegan and vegetarian eaters. We are proud of our garden which is well kept and is a great area to eat your breakfast on a warm day. There are many great restaurants to visit, as well as contemporary and traditional museums. The water in Stykkishólmur has received recognition for purity and spa qualities Stykkishólmur is widely considered the most beautiful townscape in Iceland, with many old and restored buldings and is in fact like a living museum.
