We climbed the tallest mountain in Idaho - Mt. Borah (12,662')! Base camp elevation: ~7,350'. Total elevation change: ~5,300'. Trail length (one-way): ~3.5 miles Average Grade: ~30% Total time roundtrip: 11-12 hours This involved a lot of very steep hiking/scrambling/climbing over large loose rock and a few sections rated at class 3 bordering on class 4. We did everything without ropes and harnesses! *Of all the highest mountains in each of the 50 states, Mt. Borah is ranked the 6th most difficult to climb, right behind Mt. Hood.*Climbing Mt.
